Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum: 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred; no new graduates accepted per client request. Experience evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans, documentation of goals, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in outpatient settings. Experience supervising or delegating to therapy assistants, students, or other discipline-specific staff preferred. Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and clinic safety protocols. Ability to comply with physician orders and payer documentation requirements. Maintains professional licensure and completes state-mandated continuing education. Preferred: experience with functional outcome measures and outpatient electronic medical record systems.
