About the PositionLooking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Los Angeles, CA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Evaluates assigned patients, develops and implements treatment plans, delegates and directs discipline-specific therapy services, and provides patient, family, student and coworker education. Completes documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity and charge entry in compliance with regulations and clinic policy. Participates in student programs and pursues professional development. Adheres to state practice act and maintains professional licensure. Demonstrates commitment to patient and employee safety and follows established safety and competency programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California PT state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in accordance with federal, state, and clinic guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or contract PT experience preferred.
- Experience supervising students or mentoring clinicians preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
