About the PositionLooking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Naples, FL working in an outpatient setting. Provide 60-minute evaluations and treatment, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care timely and accurately, and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support return to community activities. Maintain professional licensure, follow state practice acts, and participate in performance improvement and student supervision as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy delivering evaluations and plan-of-care, including 60-minute initial evaluations and treatment sessions.
- Documented competency in clinical documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per payer and clinic requirements.
- Ability to supervise and mentor students when assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with safe patient handling practices.
- Previous work in outpatient clinic settings with emphasis on functional, community-focused treatment plans.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern.
