Physical Therapist Location: Bristol, CT Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,816 to $2,016 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Bristol, CT at an outpatient facility and help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers. The clinician will document care thoroughly, follow physician orders and payer approvals, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and uphold professional and organizational standards of safety and conduct. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Connecticut state PT license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Experience evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing functional, community-focused care required. Experience with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and to participate in student education preferred. Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Connecticut practice act. Preferred Qualifications Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred. Prior travel or per diem experience preferred. Experience with performance improvement activities and working within safety-focused programs preferred. Assignment Details Shift pattern: 5x8. Clinician may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Participation in student clinical education may be required as assigned.
