Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist — Outpatient — Colorado Springs, CO Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide outpatient services in Colorado Springs, CO. The clinician will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document care in accordance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include patient and family education, delegation of discipline-specific therapy services, participation in student supervision when assigned, and adherence to safety and professional standards. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Colorado physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy required, including 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits preferred. Demonstrated competence with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic requirements. Ability to develop and implement functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities. Compliance with state practice act and maintenance of professional licensure and continuing education. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising students in a clinical education program. Prior travel or contract outpatient experience preferred. Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and competency programs. Assignment Details Schedule: 40 hours per week. Typical visit lengths: 60-minute evaluations; 30-minute follow-up visits. Must follow clinic policies for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
