Job Description Job Description We are seeking a full time employee with Medical Billing and Reception experience to join our busy OB-GYN healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess medical billing knowledge. Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner - Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly - Schedule appointments and maintain appt calendars - Verify insurance information and process payments - Work collections list - Assist with Good Faith Estimates, knowledge of self-pay processes and insurance billing - Update and maintain patient records using Athena EHR - Monitor and work Phreesia system for incoming appointments, wait lists, collecting co-pays and prior balances - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Requirements: - Understanding of prior authorizations, revenue cycle processes * AthenaHealth Electronic Medical Records system, Phreesia, Women's Healthcare a PLUS! Hours: Full time, 72-80 hrs per pay period (bi-weekly). 1-2 shifts working until 7pm REQUIRED. 1 Saturday per month, 8:00-12:30.
