Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join their team. As a Medical Biller, you will be part of the A/R Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Biller

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Responsible for posting payments from insurance carriers (EOBs) and patients
• Balancing daily deposits and reconciling remittances to ensure accurate accounts receivable data
• Interpreting and accurately entering data from paper and electronic EOBs into the RMS
• Identifying, calculating, and applying contractual adjustments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance based on payer contracts
• Resolving discrepancies between payment amounts and billed amounts while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Accounts Receivable, and Clerical procedures
• Ability to interpret and process insurance EOBs accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
