WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Voorhees, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Voorhees, NJ. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process. Job Function: Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights 7pm-7am | Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) required Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care Job Requirements: Minimum 2.5 years recent Labor & Delivery experience Antepartum and High Risk OB experience required Active NJ RN License or Compact License at time of submission AHA BLS Certification AHA ACLS Certification NRP Certification Experience in specialty within the last 12 months First-time travelers accepted Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
