Description

We are an independent team of financial analysts specializing in investment research and financial data solutions for institutional investors. We are looking to hire entry-level Data Analysts to extract financial data and build prediction models.

• Work on collecting and analyzing large sets of equity market data on a regular basis to make actionable predictions.
• Provide regular assistance in writing research reports.
• Perform quantitative analysis to generate ideas for institutional investors.
• Develop frameworks for automating and maintaining a continuous, reliable flow of data from multiple sources.

Requirements

Key Skills: 

• Strong financial analysis skills and equity market knowledge.
• Expertise in MS Excel (especially creating complex macro-enabled workbooks).
• Extensive knowledge of Python programming language and key Python libraries (requests, BeautifulSoup, pandas, selenium, regex, pdfminer, tabula, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)
• Experience in using AI agents for use in real-world projects (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, etc.)

Academic and Professional Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or a quantitative field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering etc.).
• Excellent English communication (Strong written and spoken communication skills).
• Personal interest in capital markets and financial news is highly desirable.
• Strong academic/professional experience in MS Excel is a must.
• Any professional work experience especially with financial data analytics and/or web scraping (Stock Exchange Websites, Equity Market Data, Company Financials/Reports, etc.) is a significant advantage.
