- Financial Analyst
Description
The Financial Analyst will support delivery of financial advisory and project development engagements, working closely with associates, managers and senior team members to deliver high-quality analysis and outputs. The role requires a strong financial and technical foundation, financial modelling skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage defined workstreams with guidance.
This position is well suited to candidates with experience in infrastructure project finance, investment banking, consulting, or infrastructure-focused investing, who are seeking to build hands-on experience across complex transactions and develop their commercial and technical skillset within a fast-paced, emerging-markets environment.
Requirements
- Become a core member of GIA project development and financial advisory team
- Support the team in ad hoc project development tasks for high-stakes, impactful infrastructure projects
- Apply financial knowledge to ensure accurate representation of financial principles
- Develop and maintain financial models for infrastructure projects in emerging markets
- Assist in the preparation of data analysis, reports and proposals
- Assist in securing new business and providing administrative support for business development activities
- Conduct research, including understanding ongoing DFI projects, infrastructure initiatives and lead generation
- Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze data for decision-making
- Maintain high-quality communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Utilise advanced Microsoft skills - Excel, Word and Powerpoint
