Harding Directional Drilling, based in Bryan, Texas, has proudly supported the pipeline industry for more than 30 years. We specialize in installing crossings for pipelines that transport oil, natural gas, petrochemicals, water, and other essential products across the country.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the daily operations of a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain company payroll using QuickBooks
- Manage administrative and clerical functions to support daily business operations
- Maintain accurate records, files, and office documentation
- Create, update, and analyze spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping activities
- Support compliance-related documentation and filings
- Coordinate with internal team members and external contacts as needed
- Perform additional administrative duties to ensure efficient office operations
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, or similar role
- Demonstrated experience using QuickBooks, including payroll processing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy office environment
Preferred:
- Experience analyzing data and maintaining detailed records
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, compliance requirements, and related filings
- Experience working in construction, energy, pipeline, or industrial service industries
