Hays Accounting & Finance are partnering with a well-established multinational organisation to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their Adelaide team.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end credit function within a highly respected business known for its supportive culture, collaborative environment and strong leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in managing receivables, driving collections performance and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Your new role
Working in a standalone capacity, you will be responsible for the full credit management function, partnering closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely collections while maintaining a high level of service.Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end credit control and collections
• Managing customer accounts and aged debtors
• Processing customer receipts and credit notes
• Conducting credit checks and reviewing credit limits
• Managing debt recovery activities and escalations
• Investigating and resolving account queries and disputes
• Liaising with sales, operations and finance teams to resolve payment delays
• Monitoring aged receivables and collection performance
• Preparing reporting, analysis and cash collection updates
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the receivables function

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in Credit Control and Accounts Receivable
• Strong collections and relationship management skills
• Confidence communicating with customers and stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Experience working with ERP systems
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
