Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on finance role? Your new company
An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a supportive finance team on a permanent part-time basis. This role offers a broad mix of accounts payable, reconciliations, bookkeeping and finance support responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working across multiple areas of finance.
Your new role
Processing supplier invoices and ensuring payments are made accurately and on timeMaintaining accounts payable records and resolving invoice discrepancies
Completing balance sheet and transactional reconciliations
Assisting with month-end close activities and reporting requirements
Managing daily banking tasks and petty cash reconciliations
Supporting accounts receivable and outstanding payment follow-up
Providing reporting support and assisting with financial analysis
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve finance-related enquiries
Contributing to process improvements and supporting the wider finance function where required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance support positionStrong reconciliation and bookkeeping skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Team-focused attitude with a willingness to assist across the finance function.
