We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial and Management Analyst to provide direct administrative, analytical, and operational support to branch leadership, research team leaders, and laboratory staff. This role combines elements of financial analysis, management analysis, and program coordination to improve organizational efficiency, maintain accurate records, support workforce administration, and assist with operational procedures.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting organizational and procedural evaluations, managing administrative processes, supporting reporting efforts, and coordinating activities that impact branch operations.
Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support
Provide direct support to AFRL Branch Chiefs, Section Chiefs, Research Team Leaders, and laboratory staff.
Manage branch calendars and conference room scheduling.
Coordinate new hire in-processing, out-processing, and CAC coordination for branch personnel.
Maintain and update communication items, including posters, website updates, and related materials.
Support ARP taskers and Division Electronic Records Management.
Assist with Work Unit (WU) efforts for RXEE and RXEP.
Track and process STINFO technical reports as required.
Perform ATAAPS labor updates and corrections as needed.
Maintain and distribute branch roster updates throughout the month.
Analysis and Process Improvement
Conduct organizational studies and evaluate internal administrative processes.
Assist in designing and improving systems and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and maintain operational and procedural documentation for management use.
Support reporting, tracking, and compliance requirements related to branch operations.
Provide analytical support affecting administrative and program management decisions.

Qualifications
Experience in financial analysis, management analysis, program analysis, or administrative operations support.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines.
Experience with records management, personnel processing, reporting, and office coordination.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tracking systems.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of organizational studies, process improvement, and procedural documentation.
Experience supporting leadership in a research, government, or institutional environment.
Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
