Salary : €5,988.79 to €7,652.42 per month + allowances (tax-exempt)

Contract: 4-year fixed-term (renewable) with one-year probationary period, and a possibility of conversion to indefinite.

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is a multilateral development bank with an exclusively social mandate. About the role

Within the Finance Directorate, the Treasury & ALM Division plays a central role in ensuring the Bank's financial sustainability. It manages liquidity, funding and balance sheet risks while enabling the Bank to deliver on its mission. As part of the Long-Term Investments and Liquidity team, you will contribute directly to how financial resources are analysed, managed and deployed to maximise impact.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will develop and maintain analytical tools and databases that underpin investment reporting. Working with complex market and transactional data, you will ensure accuracy, structure and reliability, transforming information into clear, decision-ready insights. Your work will directly support senior-level reporting and strategic decision-making.

You will also contribute to strengthening data quality and reporting processes across the Bank. This includes identifying inconsistencies at source, coordinating with front office, IT and back-office teams, and improving workflows and methodologies. Alongside producing reporting, you will conduct analysis, identify trends and variances, and help translate data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

This is a collaborative role with broad exposure across the organisation. You will support reporting continuity for funding and investor relations activities and act as a key point of coordination to ensure alignment and efficiency across the reporting cycle.

To join

1. master's degree in finance, banking, engineering or a related field
2. minimum 3 years' experience in a front office investment or ALM environment
3. strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
4. proven experience in database design and data modelling
5. advanced Excel skills and proficiency in databases, querying tools and VBA
6. familiarity with Bloomberg or Refinitiv is an advantage
7. strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
8. ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
9. high level of integrity when handling sensitive financial data
10. excellent command of English or French, with willingness to develop the other
