Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to join our team in Sarasota, FL. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
The Administrative Manager is responsible for managing daily operations and providing direct supervision to administrative staff across one or multiple sites. This role ensures that all centers run smoothly and efficiently, supporting both clinical staff and patients. Your team will be responsible for greeting and supporting check in and check out patients, consent and insurance eligibility verification, handling existing patient communications, managing internal referrals and ensuring work locations are presentable and welcoming.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing Center Operations: Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions, create schedules and ensure all locations have adequate support. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly metrics are met
- Patient Visits: Ensures patients are completing all needed actions, reviewing each patient's chart within 48 hours and ensures consents and insurance verification are complete
- Staff Supervision: Hire, train, staff and supervise administrative staff, ensuring they adhere to office policies and procedures. Coaches, trains and provides timely feedback to team
- Communication: Provides consistent communication to team of key updates and processes
- Change Support: Knowledgeable in process and system changes, provides adequate support and resources for clinical and administrative teams
- Facility Management: Ensures all locations are welcoming and adhere to brand guidelines. Maintain and order office supplies and equipment as needed
- Compliance: Ensure all locations comply with healthcare regulations and standards
- Patient Interaction: Manage complaints and feedback; ensure patient inquiries are addressed quickly. Help problem solve and trouble shoot patient complaints to ensure high level patient satisfaction
- Clinical Coordination: Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and
office operations

Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to effectively bridge administrative and clinical functions, ensuring alignment across the organization
- Proven solid organizational awareness with the ability to understand operations holistically, not just within one role or department
- Demonstrated capacity to work closely with executive leadership and serve as a trusted partner
- Proven skill in acting as an organizational liaison, gathering insights, identifying issues, and supporting informed decision making
- Willingness and ability to "reach across lanes", assisting where needed to support organizational goals
- Proven high level of initiative and adaptability, comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
- Proven solid observational, listening, and communication skills, with discretion and sound judgment
- Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCSW, LMFT or LMHC
- 2+ years of office experience in mental health
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
